We interrupt my Camino Inglés updates with some news. Some good, some indifferent.
- Camino Society Ireland newsletter – Shamrocks and Shells has been updated just recently. It has lots of news that you might find interesting. Being editor of this newsletter is a good way to give back to the Camino and kind of helps me when I am not on the Camino myself. A highlight for me was to interview the director of the Camino Voyage, Dónal Ó Céilleachair.
- Patches: I have received new Clearskies Camino patches (above) and these will be available for sale shortly.
- The Big Dander: I really admire folks who have the time to take on long-distance walks. Four weeks might be considered too long for some people (me!) but Neil Lindores is walking for much longer. He is 27 days into his Camino from Belfast to Santiago de Compostela and he is walking for a great cause. All monies raised will go to Share Tanzania. He is recording daily video logs here also.
- And lastly, I need to get work done on my large toe as it is quite painful following my Camino. I just hope it heals before I leave for Lisbon in September.
